Coming Out On Top is a lighthearted visual novel about exploring queer sexuality as a young adult. Originally released via direct PC download inComing Out On Top is a visual novel that leans heavily on letting you mess around with folks and build relationships. As in Personawho you choose to spend time with and how you choose to spend it forms the bulk of the game. Not as in Personayou can get with a goldfish. At the same time, Obscura said, so many games of this type often include non-consensual scenes, or be really intense and packed with tension and drama. Instead, this game was about tapping into the frenetic, zany energy of being a college student, coming out, and experimenting.

One thing I really wished I knew was that on your first day you get in the water and you have to get in the water and complete swim instructor training to apply to something else for ex: front desk. Also, the breaks are the worse, you don't get a full 30 minutes. Cons Very short breaks its not even a full 30 minutes. Was this review helpful?
Report Share. I've worked at plenty of swim lesson businesses, and have had a really great time at most of them! But not Goldfish. I was hired on as the store was opening, but there was instant favoritism between management and employees.
“poi” has up-side and down-side
They had me lifeguarding when I was neither CPR nor lifeguard certified. They offered training, but it was Goldfish dating tips until weeks after starting and being placed as a lifeguard. There were a lot of open-swims and parties that the entire staff was required to attend. There were roughly 30 of us, all lining the pool, passing out lifejackets, and opening doors for people.
We were not informed ahead of time that we were working extra hours outside of our scheduled shift. At the other businesses I've worked for, staying for birthday parties and open-swims was voluntary. We were paid for our time, and frequently got tips and free food from families, which made up for the extra time at work. At Goldfish, you were not allowed to go home. And because there were roughly 30 employees doing the same job, no one was tipped for their extra time. When you're actually allowed to do the job you applied for, it's great!
There are infrequent interruptions during classes, and obviously teaching the kids is fun! There are opportunities to do private lessons in scheduled class-times, and you get to build a greater bond with the student and their family, which is a fun perk.
The curriculum is solid and easy-to-understand. Cons Have to lifeguard, no notice for "overtime", favoritism. Goldfish - Gaithersburg is probably my favorite place to be!
Even on my off days all I can think about it being able to see my swimmers! Your hard work definitely gets noticed here! Good only if you like working with children. The shifts are eight half hour lessons in a row with no breaks to catch your breath or something other than the two minutes in between lessons when you can maybe relax. Typically you arrive 30 minutes early to set up for classes and each class is 30 minutes for about a 4 hour shift. Seems intimidating at first working with so many different kids, but you develop a flow and teaching style.
Co-workers were great. Would you rate your company five stars? Rate your employer to help people make better career decisions. It's a great place to work! The job is rewarding and you see a lot of kids learn and practice life long skills.

The hardest part of the job is making on the spot corrections when working with children. Fun with kids but toxic work environment. Those who work there longer often were rude and condesending, they would make me feel as if I am not doing my job right when I was. The environment was incredibly stressful and some mangers were not helpful and very belittling.
You get written up for stupid things. Pros kid interactions. Cons toxic environment, bad management and flexibility. Shifts are short but exhausting, but go by quickly because the kids are cute. Fast-paced work, but the general environment is pretty supportive.
Pay could be better, but corporate is currently talking about a company-wide pay increase, so hopefully that will be ificant. Room for growth is average, there are essentially 4 levels of promotion without being management, and 3 levels within management that typically promote from within. Pros fulfilling work, family environment. Cons Pay isnt great, work is physically taxing. Such a fun job!
No. they don’t.
Co-workers and management are fun and easy to work with. Helping kids learn how to swim is rewarding. Hours are great and flexible.
Good perks. Risk not worth the reward Management is okay Kids are easy to handle No prior experience necessary Pay is not satisfactory unless you stay a while. Jobs at Goldfish Swim School. Call Center Supervisor. Pool Team Member.
Front Desk Representative. Former Teachers Wanted! Toxic work environment.
Tips for dating a female doctor
After lessons swim team need people to work late and no one does because they are under appreciated and burnt out. Cons No breaks, no concern for workers, aggressive boss. Great job for a teen or college student.
The only thing that was bad was that you have to get your own replacement if you miss a shift or if an emergency happens. The management is completely awful, they would make you feel so under appreciated and I would cry in the pool almost every shift.
I was frequently expected to teach high leveled classes when not knowing the skills myself and not given the proper training to do so. Stay far away from this place if you are looking for a job and if you are a parent, do not bring your children here. Pros Free pizza.
